Chicane Trackdays
2009 Schedule
Pueblo Motorsports Park
Pueblo Motorsports Park is a 2.x
mile road course with 10 turns located in Pueblo
Colorado. This circuit has been a mainstay for Colorado
racers for many years and offers high speeds combined
with challenging corners. Pueblo is an excellent track
to ride when you are working on form as each corner
basically has a short straightaway after it. Make a
mistake in a corner? It’ll probably be OK because you’ll
have some time to recover and set up for the next
corner. The hallmark of this track is it’s nearly ½ mile
straightaway where some superbikes will see as high as
160 MPH.
Pueblo Motorsports Park offers a paved paddock and a
Café that is usually open for Chicane events.
Additionally there are restrooms and showers on site.
Pueblo does not have power available, so it is highly
recommended that you bring a canopy and a generator (if
you want to use tire warmers). Often times camping is
allowed at the track the night before our events. Please
see event details for more information.
Pikes Peak
International Raceway (PPIR)
We were very fortunate to have PPIR
re-open in 2008 after a period of closure since 2005.
PPIR used to host the AMA races in Colorado and offers a
professional level racetrack right here in our home
state! With a 1.3 mile road course and 7 turns it offers
challenges that some of the other available courses do
not. One is the banking present on the NASCAR Oval
portion of the track. Carrying this banking and making
the turn into turn one is a truly exciting venture.
Combine that with a technical infield section that
forces you to make the bike change directions and you
have a real recipe for a fun day at the track
PPIR offers exceptional amenities. Public restrooms and
showers are always available. Additionally PPIR has
garages that are available to rent for an extra fee. The
garages have full power and offer protection from the
elements. If you choose not to use one of the garages
there is ample space in the paved paddock where you can
use your own canopy and generator.
High Plains Raceway
A new track has just been completed
in the Denver area. High Plains Raceway will be East of
Denver near Byers, Colorado. The layout is fantastic and
we hope to be scheduling events there for 2009!
