Jim
Wilson is a successful motorcycle road racer from Colorado, having had top 5
overall finishes the past 3 seasons, he provides maximum exposure for his
sponsors, and is active in the motorcycling community.
He has been racing since 2003 and currently
holds expert roadrace licenses with the Motorcycle Roadracing Association (MRA),
Utah Sport Bike Association and AMA Pro Racing. He has taught track riding
classes for Pueblo Motorsports Park and has been an instructor for the MRA’s
Race School.
Jim finished 3rd overall in 2008 in the MRA’s Race of the Rockies GTO class,
which will enable him to run the #3 plate for the 2009 season. He also organizes
and promotes "bike nights", social events that provide comradery with local
riders and racers, in the Denver area which produce an average crowd of more
then 200 enthusiast a night.
In 2009, Jim looks forward to competing in the entire MRA race season and
continuing his quest for the #1 plate, along with select USBA Master of the
Mountain and AMA Pro Racing National events at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah.
He will also be a riding instructor for the recently formed Chicane Track Days,
providing instruction for new track riders in Colorado.
